A easy to use, excellent way to get close to zero!!! Will save you some ammo!
I am a firearms instructor for law enforcement (over 28 years) and use firearms almost daily. First off the unit comes with 4 adapters, not the 5 as pictured in the photos that are posted. See the photos I posted with my review. But that is very minor and not a big deal at all. They say 4 in the description, but show 5 in the photos. Makes no difference in its performance. Also I am not sure what some of the other reviews are talking about, some of the problems they are saying they had are due to them using the boresight improperly. I found none of the problems they are talking about.
First it comes in a nice small case that holds the LASER, batteries, hex wrenches and a screwdriver to use to put the different adapters on and off. You get everything you need. So don't throw it away, keep it for storing the boresight. One thing that I did notice that was not in the directions but I figured out on my own was which direction the batteries need to be put in the battery holder. Put the batteries in Negative side up and then insert the battery holder into the LASER. See the video for a better way of showing you this.
Once you get the batteries and battery holder installed into the LASER you will have to take one of the adapters that you need for your rifle or pistols specific caliber and screw it on the end of the boresight. This is where I think one of the reviewers may not have known what they were doing as when you screw the adapter down you can adjust the size of the adapter and also the tension of the boresight in the barrel. You can make it good and snug so the boresight will not move and give you a good snug fit.
Once you get the adapter set right for your caliber weapon, insert the LASER in the muzzle end of the firearm and push it in until its snug. Once its in you can turn it on, or turn it on just before you insert it. To turn it on you simply rotate the battery case and the LASER comes on, to turn it off, simply rotate battery case again. Its really simple to use. Then use a target about 25 or 50 yards away and look through your scope or sighting system, and adjust the crosshairs until the red LASER is in the middle of the crosshairs. Then you remove the LASER, and then shoot a few rounds through your firearm to make sure you are on target, make final adjustment as needed. This LASER and no boresight is designed to put your scope or sight dead on target perfectly, but it will get you very close if not on target. One of the reviewers said that after a few rounds the scope was no longer on target, that's not the boresights problem, that's a scope and shooter problem.
This boresight works very well, and is easy to use. I like that you can use it with any caliber by just changing the adapters. I was very happy with it and used it on 3 different firearms in the one day I did some scope sighting in. Got every one of the scopes very close to zero, with one of them needing only 1 click each way! That’s pretty darn close.
I hope this review helps you, if so a click o the helpful button is appreciated because it helps others find it. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about it also.. #BoreSighter #Goodstuff #Chriswagonerfirearms I have a YouTube channel that has lessons on firearms and also the video from this and other equipment reviews are posted there: [...]

I was sent this boresight for free to review, and that in NO WAY affects how I review things, because I read reviews before buying products and would hate to be lied too, so I will not do it either!
