Yes it is noisy, but it cleans my tile floors. I have been at a loss for 25 years trying to find an easier way to do this. Nothing cleans the grout except toothbrush. 50 years ago my parents had a floor buffer and I have not found another in 50 years except now. Yep hubs found it on amazon. *handle up off, handle down on, easy to assemble, and cleaned teh grout. Who cares about the noise if you don't have to use a toothbrush on your knees
