I get weird about textures. I was a little concerned that these would feel to much like a sateen sheet. They do feel very soft...very nice! We have a deep pillow-top mattress and the fitted sheet has plenty of room to wrap around it. The elastic does go the entire way around the fitted sheet so figuring out which way the sheet goes does take an extra minute of paying attention. If you toss-and-turn a lot then you might find that the elastic isn't strong enough to keep the sheet totally in place but I've never had it come totally off. One thing I do wish is that the manufacturers of sheets would increase the width of the top sheet as well as the depth of the fitted sheet. I can barely tuck in the top sheet...there's just not enough sheet to wrap under. I would buy these sheets again though. They are a very nice color and feel very nice to sleep on.
