I put this together yesterday. It was pretty simple to set up. My cat is 5 months old and very high energy, very curious, and loves to climb. It actually isn't 5'8 tall, it's about 6' (not including the springy ball on top). I'm not upset about that but if you are putting it in a room with a low ceiling or something you might have an issue. My cat was OBSESSED with the little mouse on an elastic string on the lower level. I named it Cynthia. She just kept trying to pull it off by grabbing it in her mouth and jumping down or tugging on it. Last night she got the string wrapped around her paw somehow and got it all tangled in her claws. She kept pulling to try to get away and screaming because she was stuck. I had to just rip the string from the platform to get her out. RIP Cynthia. I deducted a star because I'm not sure what would have happened if I was at work and she got stuck for 8-10 hours!
