This unit does have an antenna but it is inside the speaker and requires removal of the back to access it.
This unit is pretty good. Will play loud, fills our back yard with music effortlessly, without turning volume past 1/2. May upset the neighbors if turned up too much, I try to respect them. I can reach the speaker easily with Bluetooth from 35 ft. Great for streaming music from our home wifi through our iPhones. Has the rollers for pulling around, the top handle as well as side handles are fixed. Has a set of legs if you want to put it up higher off the ground. Has the lights around the speaker if you want that visual, but it has to be turned up pretty loud before they kick in. Of course you can disable the lights by turning them off with the switch in back. Here's a little known fact. Others have commented how poor the FM radio reception is. That's true BUT I have the fix. Based on previous experience I checked for an antenna on the circuitboard. Guess what, I took the back off of the speaker and found exactly what I thought might be there. See the pictures below. Included with the speaker is an antenna but it is all coiled up and zip tied so there will not be reception if you leave it as is. I simply cut the zip tie and extended the wire out through the back of the cabinet and now I have good FM reception pulling in many stations I was not able to get before. You can simply route it out through the back of the cabinet and put the back on. Or do like I did and drill a small hole and have it exit that way. Either way will work.
