These grooming combs were recommended to me by a breeder who has been grooming for 40 some years. I wanted to trim down my standard poodle puppies coat but not shave it down completely. The combs come as a nice set in a box and are color coded with the size right on the comb. They are stainless steel and so can be sterilized and will last a lifetime - much better purchase than the plastic combs which can bend and break. These also stay on magnetically so once you slip them on your blade, they stay on. This is a quality set. I have been using the half inch comb for my puppy and it slides through the coat well and when used with a 30 blade, which is recommended, it works seamlessly and gives an all over, clean trim of the coat.
