This is a decent product. The Giant Ant Farm is not that large, so I'm lead to believe that anyone looking to really enjoy viewing their ants should go with the Giant version versus the original. Also, to avoid having to wait 3-6 weeks for your ants to arrive after redeeming voucher, I recommend ordering 2 tubes of red harvester ants when you initially order your ant farm as the farm arrives first, and the ants do several days later. To avoid having to buy fake sand refills (Crushed Perlite) at an extremely inflated rate for topping up, or when you clean your ant farm, I would suggest that you just buy a bag of horticultural perlite and crush it up which is pretty easy to do with a one gallon zip lock bag and a rolling pin. Overall, the kids love it. Not going to lie, I think it's pretty cool too. We may buy a couple more of them so that we can connect them.
