My son really likes this blanket. He's on the autism spectrum and is considered high functioning. Since he's older, I bought two 20 lbs. blankets; one for college and one for home. He said that he sleeps well with the heavier weight. He told me that he wears it around his shoulders in his dorm room while studying because he needs that "pressure" sometimes as not to be overwhelmed with campus life. It's comforting and soothing to him.
