Moisture wicking is very important when buying a face mask. They do work as a medical mask. The gaiter seems a bit tight at first but it does stretch just enough to be comfortable & stays up. I wear it around my neck as a scarf to pull it up as I may need it. I bought several for my family. I also spoke w/Doc before buying confirming they will work. The key is moisture wicking!! Thx.
