Great Product, Great Price.
I have bought both Otto's Cassava flour and this brand. I used both in the making of tortillas. Otto's I also used to fry mushrooms, onions, and cucumbers and will do so with this brand in the future. I fell in love with the cassava flour tortillas as did my family, especially my gluten eating husband who loved having fajitas for dinner. What I couldn't stomach though is the price of the other brands flour. $15 more than what I paid for this brand and honestly the consistency was the same. Both flours are super fine and had no lumps. Now from what I understand the difference in price is because Otto's supposedly harvests their plant at an earlier stage for a particular ratio of fiber/starch and dries it differently to avoid mold growth. I can't speak for the fiber/starch ratio with Anthony's brand but they do state on the website that "Each batch is then lab analyzed to make sure the Cassava Flour is free of microbiological contaminants" I was very pleased with the cassava flour from Anthony's, both taste and texture. For the price I can't see myself purchasing Otto's again when this product appears to give me the same results, is a good quality and substantially cheaper.
