These watercolors are Awesome! They are colorful and very shimmery. They are very pearly/metallic. I have bought many products including metallic pens and Derwent Metallic water color pencils. These Yasutomo water colors are superior and offer a much larger selection. I somehow ordered 2 of them and I am very glad as I would never want to run out. As another person commented the wells are not full but they are a large 1 inch in diameter and a little actually goes a long way with these. I attached a color chart that I made and a painting above so you can see more. If you are looking for a pearly, metallic, shimmery look with rich color then look no further. and at this price you can afford to try them. It is also easy to achieve a pale or saturated color. So you can use these easily as a stand alone color or as a shimmery wash over another medium. These are so much fun to play with!
