Sometimes, when I find maxi dresses that are under 50$, they end up feeling very poorly made. The material will either "pill" very easily or the fabric will be prone to getting holes easily. This dress is not that way at all! Both materials (the top and bottom are different) feel well put together and as thought they will last a long time. The top portion is a stretchy cotton material that's not too thin, and the bottom skirt is a material that's not as stretchy and little heavier. I'm 5'4 and 123 pounds and I ordered a small. The dress fits well, but I probably could've gotten an extra small as the top portion does "bunch" a little at the waist. Either way, this is not an issue because I still love the dress. The dress is long, however. Also not an issue for me because I like to wear heels and wedges, but if you like to wear flats and are under 5'5, you'll probably have to get it hemmed. Check out my pics for details. I'm barefoot in one and am wearing a 3 inch wedge in the other. I love the color and pattern combination and got several compliments when wearing it. Overall, it's a great addition to a dress collection and is perfect for Summer, Spring, or Fall!
