Good for an everyday purse; Some things to consider:
2016 Goal: I ordered the black version of the purse expecting to get a medium sized, versatile purse that would open/close quickly, have an adjustable strap, hold an iPad mini, and have sufficient dividers for various everyday things (and then some). General features that weren't clear upon purchase: -The back zipper pocket (BZP) on purse is wide enough for pens and is 4 inches deep. -There is a zipper which closes the main pocket (MP); could be useful to prevent pick-pocketing or stuffing purse temporarily beyond closing capacity. -"Loose-change pocket" (LCP) in MP is 4 inches deep. It overlaps with BZP exactly (important later). -One of the inside pouches sticks out more. Manufacturing error, maybe? -Purse is not matte or super shiny. It has more of a dry sheen, like most pleather. Pros: -Decent purse for the price; quality material, APPEARS durable. -Holds everyday items with ease. My typical items: smart phone, glasses, clutch-type wallet, fossil coin purse, bunch of scrunchies, minimal makeup, pocket knife, pens, iPad mini, nail kit, and a bundle of keys. In addition to these items, I expect it could also fit a small pen/pencil case, a small travel umbrella, and/or a cheap single-use water-bottle. -Purse notably light; I love that it doesn't feel like I'm carrying a brick when there is nothing inside. -Front pocket (FP) is very large, opens fairly wide (about 7 x 6 x 1.5 to 3 inches); leaves lots of room for many types of frequently used items; could be good for keys, makeup, pens/pencils, travel tissues, sunglasses, etc. Cons: -Strap is a little thin looking (but durable) so it looks a little funny on me (petite). -When using LCP at mid-capacity, the opening of MP starts to become notably obstructed. This makes it slightly challenging to put items into MP when standing. (All photos show purse with contents in LCP.) -Previous scenario works in conjunction with the BZP to create a relatively large empty space at the bottom of the purse (aka "the point of no return") where certain small/medium items are more challenging to reach when standing. The items are retrievable, but it is slightly annoying. -If MP and FP are too full, it is more challenging to close the magnet clip - however, your belongings in the MP will not be at risk due to the zipper feature. -It does look a little silly when it start to reach it's maximum capacity. Do not get this purse if you expect to fill the purse to capacity on an every day basis. Conclusion: I think it is a decent purse. It does what I need it to do. I would be willing to give it another star if the "point of no return" was amended. I think it is a design flaw that could get frustrating if I can't find something in my purse with urgency. I hope to return with additional feedback as I use the purse over time. Thanks for reading. 2017 Edit: I've been using this purse almost every day for about a year. No tears, threads popping, or anything weird going on. I still think this purse is great. I sometimes get annoyed by the "Point of No Return", but it's not as noticeable as before since I've modified where I put items that might get trapped there. I would recommend this purse if you want something simple, durable, and functional for a great price.
