Used the oil rubbed bronze on an out of date, and well worn patio door handle. I had planned to buy a new handle, but found that every door manufacturer has unique design so it couldn’t match my other new hardware. Scuff and smoothed old handle with ultra fine scotchbrite, cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Two light coats of rustoleum black primer a few minutes apart, and then finished with the Oil Rubbed Bronze. Give it a day to dry and looks fantastic! Looking for more things to paint now.
