My cocker spaniel is SO fussy! We bought a "minky" bath rug and every morning, it was in a ball where she would nest and sleep overnight. It was so frustrating because it's such a large rug. So, off to Amazon to find a bed for her! She's never slept on any dog bed I've purchased (and there have been a TON,) and most of the time she would leave it for her big (dog) brothers an opportunity to destroy it. BUT NOT THIS ONE! She immediately dragged it to the downstairs bathroom, and laid down. This is now where I find her (when she's not under my feet!) She sleeps in it, snugs down into it, and hasn't touched our rug! Truly amazing! She doesn't let the big dogs near it. I've not noticed any of the fibers coming off, and there's no smell right out of the package. I worried that the small size might be too small, but it's perfect. I would definitely buy this again (and may get one for another room.)
