Excellent correction to Texas myth
This is an amazing history of the battle of the Alamo and the events/history surrounding that helps politically correct stories about the Alamo like John Wayne’s embarrassing movie.
Given the fact that Texas joined the Confederacy just 25 years after the Alamo it’s bizarre that we need a book to remind us Texas seceded because of slavery.
