My hair had grown dull and lifeless. I thought a new hairstyle might help bring it back to life. The cut was fabulous, but did not change the appearance of my actual hair. A friend recommended Monat and said it had really helped her hair. But at $99 a bottle, I had to find some alternative. A bit of research indicated that Abyssinian oil is the ingredient in Monat that makes such a difference, so I ordered this to give it a shot. I can't believe the difference it has made! The first time I used it, I added several drops of it to my conditioner and let it sit for a while. Then after I rinsed the conditioner out, I put about three or four drops in my palm, and applied it to my damp hair and styled as usual. Since then, I just add a couple of drops to my conditioner and a couple of drops to the ends of my damp hair after rinsing out the conditioner. My hair is now soft and shiny and even holds its style better. I'm also patting a couple of drops onto my lips and around my eyes before bed.
