During the pandemic, I have mostly worn the ubiquitous blue surgical masks or multilayer cloth masks. I stayed away from N95 masks because of the great need for healthcare and first responders to have them when they’re working on the front lines. I see the Boncare KN95 as a very good alternative to the US N95 mask for non-medical use… Fits well to the average sized face and is comfortable. Instead of N95 head and neck straps, these KN95 masks use ear loops for attachment like most cloth masks. They appear to be constructed well and the nose wire allows the mask to be shaped to your face securely and comfortably. Breathing is easy and I like the black color. I would rate their filtration capability similar to N95 or the equivalent of wearing a cloth mask over a surgical mask (double masking) based on my research. Overall a very good masking option for the price. Will report back again with any updates…
