I cut my window cleaning time in half by taping the squeegee blade and sponge back to back (see my photo). The day before I'd spent hours switching back and forth between tools on the extension pole while cleaning some really high windows. It was a hot day and by the time I got the squeegee part together the soapy water was drying. This morning I combined the tools, with the squeegee part attached to the pole and the sponge taped to its back, just high enough for the attachment hole to show so I could take it off for lower windows. It worked great, and I cleaned 3 times the windows in the same amount of time.
