I wear a size 20/22 on my bottoms. I'm 5'4 with no thigh gap. I have to deal with chub rub all the time. I purchased the 3x/4x black size. So here is my review. It goes on fine, easier than pantyhose, not quite as easy as jeans. But in assuming the bent over position: it is NOT 100% opaque, but it is about 80-90%. You could potentially wear nude colored underwear to make the skin/fabric difference less noticeable (i purposely wore black under the black to test) or just simply wear something that covers your butt and you'd be fine. My leg area was completely opaque, and when standing up, my husband could barely notice the difference between my panties and skin (a process he enjoyed very much). They bunched at my feet, but i'm pretty used to that and I intend to wear them with knee high boots regardless. My only dislike of this item is that it's a thick fabric that when stretched becomes bumpy. So my chub rub area was doing that vibrating noise. Hard to describe, but sounds like a soft zip with each step. If you have chub rub, you know what i'm talking about. Overall, i'm happy to join the leggings/long shirt trend. Now please don't go out of fashion now that i'm just getting into it!!!
