I am a tool collecting freak but couldn't bring myself to buy this. Use two zip ties and loop them around each end of the spring (picture attached). The same loops that would be used by the tool. Taking the wire/spring off of the washer gasket is a simple one person job. Putting the wire back on is helped by one other person holding the wire at 3 and 9 o clock and progressively moving down to 6 and 8. It only takes one person to pull the two twist tie loops apart and finish the job.
