VERY nice FM/Bluetooth device. Unlike most FM transmitters this one actually works really well and sounds great. It works best on the lowest vacant band in your area (ie if 80.1 and 101.8 are both vacant use 80.1) - use something like radio-locator website to find a vacant stations in your area. The sound quality is surprisingly good, as good as the best FM station you can tune in, and not as good as a CD. There is minimal engine noise, and can be mostly eliminated by setting your phone/transmitter volumes both high, and use the stereo to adjust your volume level. Very easy to configure. Receiving calls works great. The mic seems to work well, people can here me very well on the other end. No echo, no noise. Works great. Here are my issues. - It's missing an "off" button so the only way to turn off is to unplug from the lighter socket - not friendly. - It lacks an auto-shut off, for example my battery powers the 12v lighter socket even when the car is off, potentially draining the battery. - It lacks Siri compatibility for placing calls or activating Siri, many FM transmitters can activate Siri or google now from the call button, this one does not. Would be very welcome. That said, it does work fine with "ok siri" if your iPhone is plugged into the 5v. Even with these missing features, the unit works so well, I'll still give it 4 stars, would easily be 5 stars if it had a few more features. I've tried other FM transmitters that sound so poor and have so much static and interference that they simply are not usable. So no matter if they have all the features in the world, if they sound bad they're worthless. This one sounds great and lacks some features but it does the main job extremely well, which is linking your phone to your cars stereo via FM/Bluetooth. Its very functional and sounds great. Having tried quite a few different FM transmitters, I have to say this is the rare one that actually works and I now use everyday.
