I used these to go snowboarding and they were very very warm, well insulated, and kept the water out the whole day!! One day we snowboarded in very wet snow and the water didn't get through to my leggings! Also, several times my boyfriend would complain his butt was cold when sitting on the snow on the mountain, but I literally couldn't feel it at all!! I really like these pants. A lot of people mentioned the fit wasn't very good, but I thought it was okay. I'm between a size 25-26 (0-2) and 5'2 116 pounds. I was able to fit an xs regular and I actually think the pants might be a bit short contrary to what all the others are saying. However, I do have relatively long legs for most people my height. If you look in the pictures I show you where my boob ends and where my belly button is. I think any other Asian girl my height would think they're too long. i was also able to have leggings on under the pants. They are pretty high waisted but that's what you want in snow pants- so snow doesn't get up your butt especially if your powder guard slips for some reason. I personally like the high waist fit. there is some tightness in my inner thigh and butt region, but it was perfectly fine when I went snowboarding. It didn't rip or feel too tight!! And the material doesn't feel cheap. It feels normal.. I bought a pair of burtons in conjunction to compare them and the burtons were super thin and felt cheaper (for double the price). Overall I really like these pants!!
