I am new to the whole pillow case thing since my ex used to do all that stuff. But I wanted to replace the ones left behind with something more in line with my tastes. I purchased some microfiber cases first and they were fine. You can read that review, but I wanted something that would stay a bit cooler, so when you turn the pillow over, it's nice and cool. So not flannel, but not silky either. So I tried these and they fit the bill nicely. I also wanted something easy to care for. That said, these wrinkle pretty bad when washed, more so then the microfiber ones I purchased. So for some it might require them to be ironed - not something I would do though. Can't rate them for durability, but I see no reason they should not last a good long time. So while I am pleased with the purchase and don't really care that much about wrinkles, I can't give these a five star rating.
