I bought minecraft pe before this, and have enjoyed survivalcraft much more than the former. The terrain generation is better including biomes and caves which are fun to explore. I also prefer the crafting mechanism which requires you to place a recipe of components on a grid to craft new items. All in all, it is easier to play, has much more stuff in it (weather, sunsets, stars, paint!) and feels fully polished.
