Pilot is NOT missing...
The pilot of BSG is the episode entitled "33"; however, what everyone that has bitched and rated this show down is looking for is "Battlestar Galactica: The Mini Series" which is a 3hr long prelude to this season and is also on AmazonPrime. You're welcome.
Anyways, my favorite TV show. Nicely re-imagined and very well done.
