This is my new hair toy. I can't say how much I love this straightener. I was skeptical at first because I didn't see many African American women leaving reviews on this product, my hair is really thick after I wash it (as you can see from my fro in the 1st pic). My hair is also free from any chemicals, so I took a chance on this purchase and am glad that I did. I let my hair air dry after I washed it, leaving it a little damp to start. I rubbed a dime sized amount of unrefined coconut oil through my hair and put the straightener to the test. Voila, the proof is in the puddin' 😍😍😍😍
