Keeping in mind this is a $200 dresser, I can easily rate it 5 stars. Now your considering buying this, this is what you need to know. What tools will you need? A hammer and a screwdriver, I used a rock for the hammer it will do fine. How complicated is putting it together? Was math and geometry your strong suit? You should have no problem. This took me approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes leisurely. Some in the reviews say up to five hours though, so be ready to dig in. Is it going to fall apart like some of the reviews say? If you did it right and followed the direction, not likely. The directions are not for the simple-minded, which I assume are where the negative reviews come from. It's very heavy and sturdy. I am 150 lbs, and laid on top of it. However it is worth noting, there is a peg under the dress in the middle. It doesn't touch the ground, but it appears to level out the force in the middle of the dress. Is it worth $200? Are you buying a temporary dresser until you can afford a nicer one? probably not. You want a dresser that's an upgrade from IKEA? this is the product for you! What about scratching the laminate surface? Is it fragile? Yes, I got a little ding for assembling it on a wood floor (even though theres a warning not too, but hey it's only $200.). Would not recommend if you have kids.
