First off, I'm white with very sensitive skin. It's very difficult to find a conditioner that will NOT break out my skin. This was my issue with Wen (plus the price). Let me just say that if my hair were a person, it would be an irritable teenager. It is frizzy and course. It is wavy, and does it's thing. In person terms, it is defiant, rude, and frustrating. My hair can be a total jerk, and I was ready to shave it all off and start over. Shampoos work for a while but my hair is clever, and learns how to bristle at shampoos so I waited two months to post this. This stuff cleans my hair, removes build up, and doesn't dry it out. My hair looked like spun silk... like I was in shock, and I was able to style it as I wanted. This kind of thing doesn't happen, but it did using this product. This stuff rinses out easily (but I do comb through it as well). The craziest thing is that this product has not caused my skin to break out. My stylist kept telling me that my hair feels so much better and is much smoother than it's ever been. I knew that it was NOT just me at this point. This stuff really works, and you can get it cheaper on Sally's Beauty Supply than on here and maybe they have smaller sizes to try before buying the larger size. I know Amazon sells a sample pack of all AS I AM products, so logically, this should be available at Sally's. I did not buy the sample kit because this was on sale. I'm happy that I didn't because this was pretty much all I needed. I still use some product but not as much as I did use before using the CoWash.
