Great catio for the price. It’s fairly sturdy and can be made more so with a few modifications. I highly recommend checking all the screens and reinforcing with additional staples where needed. We painted ours to help add a layer of protection and have it match house trim. Also removed the back panel to put it up against the house and used that panel to double the size. Because of that we couldn’t use the roof panels so we used corrugated vinyl roofing instead (saving the asphalt panels to cover an extension I hope to build next). Most of our cats love it (we have 5). Hoping it holds up well and the one we built it for (the escape artist) starts to take to it more! FYI...painting was a huge task. If you decide to paint, it will save a huge amount of time to use a good outdoor paint with primer, a small roller, and a small trim pad. The wire will eat up a sponge. If you remove a panel and use as an extension, you will need to reinforce the structure (we used L-brackets to attach catio to 2x4s and decking and an additional shelf where it connects).
