After spending way too much time looking at cases on Amazon I finally decided on this one. I am pleased with my decision and here are the observations I wish to share in case they too are important to others. *Color- the color in person is more of a purple than red, which to me is a plus. Though the listing states the color is burgundy, the listing photos made it look more of a maroon. I would call this plum. In the photos I took, the color looks brown, so I am guessing the material and color may just be difficult to capture accurately in photographs. *Material- the case is soft to the touch, comfortable to hold, and creates enough friction so the phone won't slip from your hands or slide around on a table or arm of couch. The plum material is softer and more pliable than the gold, both are flexible though. Not sure why, but for some reason I thought the gold would be metal, it isn't. I prefer the plastic to metal. *Case design/function- As a 40+ woman, I appreciate the sophisticated design- not too boring. The case is thick enough that the camera lens will not be flush to any surface you place your phone on. The touchscreen bezel also prevents it from being flush to surfaces and though pliable it is sturdy enough to stand up to constant abuse from my thumb when I press the Home button. (This was my biggest concern when selecting a case and a feature that is hard to determine just by looking at pictures). Overal, very pleased with this case and I would definitely buy another Caseology case. Hope this review helps other shoppers.
