Love it!
**I did not install this myself so my review is based on cost, research, feedback, and use**
I just to moved to MD and wanted to get a remote starter installed in my 2007 Ford Expedition in time for winter. I do *not* know anything about after market vehicle add on's (I keep my cars stock; ya ya, I know, I'm boring) and was nervous about buying something online but I read the reviews on Amazon, did some cost analysis amongst other websites, and thought, "what the heck, why not?" With Amazon's amazing customer service, and for the price that this was selling for, I knew that I wasn't taking on much of a risk.
The installer told me that this system is a great remote start system and after a short discussion with the installer, I decided to get the rear defroster option added into the remote start. The installer did not have any issues with this kit nor the bypass kit that I bought (Directed Electronics PKALL Encrypted Key Data Tranponder Bypass Kit). He programmed the 4 button remotes to be the only remotes that I use with the vehicle so it locks, arms alarm, unlocks, open the back door, and remote starts. The remote works well and has a great radius. When I get ready to pack my lunch for work, I just walk to where I keep my keys, push the button, and my car starts right up. My truck will stay on but will shut off if I press on the brake before turning my key to actually start the truck. It's set to where if the truck is on, and the key hasn't been inserted into the ignition, it will shut off on it's own.
Overall, I'm glad I bought this kit. The cost was great and the feedback I got from the installer was good as well.
