For the longest time, we've been living in the darkness! When we had to get up in the middle of the night, we would be walking in pitch black darkness. There were numerous times when I stubbed my toes or tripped over a cord, and I just had enough. I came across these night lights and decided them to give them a shot. I love that these came in a six-pack so I could plug them in multiple places. The design is great, simplistic and compact, only about 2" x 2" in size. Unlike older night lights, they don't stick up 4 inches and you can easily fit two lights in a pair of sockets. The brightness of the lights is perfect! They give off a nice even white light, unlike somewhat ugly yellow light from traditional night lights. They're not too bright that disturbs us in our sleep, nor are they too dim that we still can't see anything. It's just enough to clearly see where I'm going in the dark. They also adjust in brightness depending on how bright your room is. During the day and with indoor lights, they're pretty much off and at night, they're at maximum brightness. They also will be on at a mid-level brightness if your room is not too bright but not too dark either. The only slight thing I'd say about them is they may be a little overly sensitive. For example, even during the day, if I plug them in a relatively darker corner or underneath our kitchen cabinets, they will light on. Not really the biggest of inconveniences but may be an issue for those that live in darker homes. Overall though, these were the perfect solution for our night time problems!
