This big old thing does the job! It's not fancy, but it's very well made and I expect it will hold up for a long time. We have 3 dogs, ranging from 20 lbs to 115 lbs. They drink a LOT of water. I wanted a bowl that would hold a good amount of water, but was also sturdy enough that they wouldn't knock it over (it happens more than you would think). The bowl itself is actually pretty lightweight, but of course gets weighed down when you add the water. Still, I figured they would easily knock it over. No water spills so far! I'm very happy with the quality of the product and our pups seem to like it, too! My purchases on Amazon are heavily influenced by the reviews of others. I review all of my Amazon purchases honestly in hopes that I can help others determine whether or not a product is right for them.
