My new favorite movie of all time, this movie was incredible. The philosophy of optimistic nihilism felt genuine and reflected how I feel about existence in general. I have never felt such a deep connection with a film before, it felt profoundly "real" even when the actual content was fantastical. The movie was spectacularly beautiful, the prose was strong, the acting was emotional. It has been about a month since I saw it in theaters and it continues to worm its way into my thoughts. Not for everyone, but by god it was for me.
