There weren't any directions that came with it, and it included a piece of blue film that I discarded (not really sure what it was for). Anyway- I cleaned my phone with the supplied micro fiber cloth, and stuck that bad boy right on there. I have had zero issues. Also- whatever coating is on the glass is awesome, you have a hard time putting fingerprints on it unless you've been eating chicken wings or something; in which case you should put the damn wings down, you fat slob.
