I have this and the Nano S by Ledger. Honestly it does not matter what cold device you use, just get your keys offline period. Please new users understand this; cold storage and soft(hot) storage of any kind of does not store your bitcoin. Cold storage is meant to store your private keys to your bitcoins offline. Bitcoins or any other cypto currency remains in the virtual space. No one can gain access to them unless they have knowledge of your private keys. Most online soft(hot) storage, phone apps, pc's are continuously connected. You have more of a risk of exposing your keys. The more your keys are at risk being online, the more chances a hacker has. I don't care if the app on any device that says your key are safe, a hacker is a hacker and they will get to it. Even if you connect the cold device to a computer or phone to access, your keys are still blocked from being seen. A confirmation request is made on the device, and yet your keys are hidden. It's a no brainier! Seriously take the time and know-how. I learned all this the hard way. I suggest anyone take the necessary precautions with their crypto investments.
