Alright here is the deal. The ipad recognizes this card reader as being made by a company that is not apple. So it will tell you something to the effect of 'device not recognized' don't be fooled. Plug it in, close out the message that it isn't recognized, then go to your photos and under your photos there will be a new tab or folder that shows the pictures that are on the card reader.
