The year was 2014; the escalating arms race between IT, Developers, and Testers at my job was reaching a fevered pitch. The Cold Office War was about to get hot. And I being the lowly Technical Writer was caught in the middle; no side wanting me, and me wanting no side. Two minutes to midnight (or 3:30pm a Friday) the IT guy was the first to fire the 'Shot Heard 'Round the Break Room'. I grabbed my Sledgefire, loaded the 3-round shell, hid under my desk, and prayed. Minutes felt like hours and darts fell around me like rain. I waited and counted. "16, 17, 18...his Nerf N-Strike Elite Rapidfire CS-18 Blaster only holds 18 darts. I sprang up from behind my cubicle BAM! Some jerk hit me with a rubber band. In all seriousness the Sledgefire shoots about 30ft indoors, and sometimes the darts go a little wild. I wouldn't use this outside if you're like a serious Nerf person, but as a back up for close-range this thing is pretty cool, and the loading and unloading is just fun.
