56-year old female here. My usually normal skin gets so dry and itchy in the winter that I just want to crawl out of it. I’ve tried so many products that have given me no lasting relief. So I started down the YouTube rabbit hole in search of something new when I stumbled on “Speed Beauty by Caroline Barnes” who recommended this product. I was intrigued simply by the fact that this was a French pharmacy staple and I had never been to France, so I figured why not try something from another country. I wasn’t hopeful as I had tried other oil-based body cleansers that seemed okay but stunk to high heaven (either too perfumed or with a fish oil type smell — no thanks). But THIS CHANGED MY SKIN. I finally feel like my search has ended. This has become my holy grail product and I can see myself using it year round. Pros: Huge bottle with a great pump No scent Good consistency - not too thick nor too thin Small amount of suds (heavy suds will dry you out, people!) Won’t leave film or an oil slick on your tub floor Won’t leave film or an oil slick on your skin Can use it to wash your face, too Rinses off cleanly Super gentle - perfect for sensitive skin Can be used by everyone in your household - women, men, kids, babies (I have not tried it on my dog) Can even be used as a hand wash Cons: None that I can think of — I LOVE THIS STUFF! Note: I paid for this product myself. I don’t trust reviews of people who get stuff for free because I’m worried they might have ulterior motives. I’m not a conspiracy-theorist or anything... I just want true, unvarnished reviews from regular people just like me. Update 12/28/2022: I’m 59 now and still use nothing but this cleansing oil in the shower. My skin is baby soft with no need for lotion ever (even in the dead of winter in Virginia). Love this product and am a customer for life!
