After MUCH research for a decent priced warm, quality robe I found this one. I think I read near every review, which is what sold me. Very few said anything negative OTHER THEN the sizing issue. So... against my inner voice, I ordered a size DOWN. (I really wanted a loose/comfortable fit.) I am 5'5 185 lbs. and a 2X all day long but after reading all of the very helpful reviews, I ordered a L/XL in the beautiful "ocean" color and it is PERFECT!! Very roomy, enough to wear cozy pj's under with some room to spare. (But not huge) I couldn't have asked for a better fit. That said, if I would have ordered my size I'd be very unhappy and shipping it back... cant imagine how huge a 2x must be! So PLEASE ladies... take all of our good advice and order down a size. (Maybe ever two sizes if you dont want extra room.) Other then sizing, it's a very soft, thick and long robe. (Down to my ankles) And the arms are quite long as well. If you live in a cold state, it will be perfect for you, but not so much if you live in Texas! *UPDATE* One year later and this is still my favorite robe! 11-2017
