I received this travel system just at the time we got our new baby. My toddler isn’t ready to let go of his Britax stroller so the timing couldn’t be better. I would not be able to pay such a heavy price tag for single travel system but thankfully I have plenty of experience with different strollers and children and I am confident in delivering quality review. Here we go : STROLLER PROS Stroller itself can be used in 5 different positions: 1.Carriage (baby laying in the basinet) - parent facing 2.Carriage - forward facing 3.Toddler seat parent facing 4.Toddler seat forward facing 5.Carseat carrier- this is awesome for very young babies, when you get them out of the car you just pop the carseat onto the stroller and stroll away! Unlike those grow-with-the-baby seats that stay in the car and can’t be used as a carrier or with the stroller. Basinet and toddler seat are the same seat, one converts into another. Stroller is noticeably lightweight and has adjustable handle which is great, everyone can adjust to their comfort depending on their height. My husband and I are both on the short side so between us we don’t need to change the handle but it’s easily done. Entire stroller folds and unfolds easily. Storage basket under the seat is huge. More than enough for diaper bag and few other items. It is larger than my Britax basket. Also there is more clearance from the basket to the seat so you can stack up and really load it up. I have grocery store right around the corner and I hate to drive so the basket size is a huge plus as I load it with groceries. STROLLER CONS: Only complaint I have are the wheels that feel kinda flimsy-ish and hard comparing to my Britax stroller. Maybe I just got spoiled but there is not as much shock absorption either. Our streets are somewhat nice and don’t have pot holes so this is not too much of a bother but if the things were different I am pretty sure ride would not be such a pleasant one. CARSEAT supports children from 4-30lbs and 32in. Carseat base has anti-rebound bar as additional safety. Seat is very cushy and has a lot of padding which is even more safety added for the baby. It also has removable infant insert that allows for extra padding and comfort for infants. Inserts and entire padding can easily be tossed in the washer when it gets dirty or the baby has an accident in the seat. We live in tropical climate, hot and humid and the carseat doesn’t get too hot when walking outside with the stroller or inside the vehicle with moderate AC. It is easy to attach the seat to carseat base but I found it a little tricky to attach it to the stroller. After couple uses I got used to it and now everything is running smoothly. Another thing worth mentioning - this did not affect how many stars I rated the travel system but I think it’s important to know: manufacturer is not responsive. I reached out via email inquiring about additional details on this one and another Maxi Cosi item but never received response. Also no response received in QA section here on Amazon. Another petty con I would add is a heavy price tag. For this price I would rather look into Britax travel system. In my personal opinion it is better quality and retains it’s market value for those parents who wish to sell or trade in once they’re done using.
