Okay, so the average person on Amazon looking for sheets is probably like me and encountered the same delima I did. You want a good sheet set and for a good price. But! You don't know what to believe when browsing for sheets because the reviews are off the walls. Either people love them or they hate them. So let me tell you my experience with these particular sheets I decided to give a try. First off, they come very nicely wrapped in a decorative box and the shipping was extremely fast. I ordered them on a Monday and got them on a Thursday. The only disconcerting thing I noticed right away about these sheets is when I pulled them out of the box they had a musty odor as if they were stored somewhere damp. No mold damage to the sheets though so I threw them in the wash on delicate; they held up very well and the smell went away. All the little 'strings' people complain about came off in the dryer and my pillow cases held up well. They do fit deep mattresses to a certain extent, I have a 3inch memory foam topper as well as a plush cotton topper and it almost fits my bed. This doesn't concern me because I should have gotten a King size. Finally, the sheets themselves feel like nice quality hotel sheets you would find at a Marriott or something. You do get what you pay for, but I am not displeased because I only payed 30$ and in the world of bedding - that is cheap. They have more of a silky feel to them than a cotton feel, so beware. All in all they are as described, and if you are curious on how they feel spend a night at a nice hotel.
