I bought this for my 11 month old. It has lots of install options. Comes with hardware for two banisters, two walls, or banister-wall. The bansiter mount is great! You can get it very tight. Uses strong velcro straps with a locking buckle. There is even a hex screw to tighten the strap even more. The wall side has mounting options for with or without baseboard. I used the with baseboard option. That uses the three plastic mounts with three screws for the metal bar. The gate hinge side can be installed on banister or wall side. It is easy to change after it is installed. Gate swings both ways. I installed it at an angle, no problems. It is a very sturdy metal gate. I'll upload some pics soon. Only con was the instructions suck.
