This is about the best capacity-per-dollar ultrasonic humidifier you can buy on Amazon right now. These all work on the same basic principle - this one has a very efficient and quiet chamber design, analog controls and minimal extra junk (the essential oil tray doesn't seem to work for very long). The price has gone up slightly since its introduction but I still think it's the best buy for function & capacity. The power knob seems to control the ultrasonic driver level vs the fan - it only ever makes the slightest whirr. Unless you're right next to it, you'll barely hear it. The 6 liter tank is very easy to fill and lasts a good 12-14 hours on max, plus the output is strong enough to raise the humidity of a large 20x20 room with vaulted ceilings from the low 40s to 50%+ and maintain it throughout the day. I only wish the nozzle was easier to rotate & the color options were either all white or all black.
