Surprisingly good bag for the money. Works great for me.
I really like this little bag. Warning, long review. (And no, I didn't get anything free for the review, either!) I researched over 12 tube and bar mount bags, and this one fit the bill for me. Now that I've moved to a full-suspension commuter, I had to find something to replace my triangle frame bag. CONS: Pretty much none given the price. I mean, the plastic screen sucks for touch, but it works for me because I use bluetooth smartwatch or headset to control my apps while riding. PROS Surprisingly good quality for the price. ** Very handy to have some storage in that location, especially because my handlebar has gotten pretty crowded.** Little things that matter to me are done well. ** The zippers are good quality, big coil, big ties, and there's enough stiffness to the bag so that the zippers can pull one-handed. ** dual zippers, not single; that let's me decide where and how much I want to open it. ** Stitching is solid. ** Didn't think I'd like the bungee for the handlebar stem, but I see how it's better than velcro. ** The three straps do a good job of holding it in place, even loaded. ** I got the large, which fits my Galaxy S7, and it holds my cycling glasses. ** It's really nice to have the phone where it's accessible, but it's not a replacement for a good handlebar mount, because the phone is too low to touch or monitor while riding. ** It doesn't get in the way of anything else on the bike. ** the phone is wrapped in a way that is pretty much waterproof and crashproof. I once trashed a phone that was in a bar mount during a mild crash. ** The lid flips open from the top, so the stuff inside doesn't dump out when you load or unload the phone.
NOTE: when installing, the top velcro strap is really long, so you have to wrap it twice around the bar before threading it through the tab.
