When my children were young, I would ask them to clean the kitchen countertop. they would wipe the towel once across and say they were done. But the countertop was still dirty. This is what so many iPad case designers do with their products. They think that anything that seems to cover the iPad in ideal conditions is good enough for us. My Zugu "The Alpha Case" is the first I've had that seems designed to actually do what a case is supposed to do—protect under real-life conditions and hazards. And the only case that really gets it when it comes to the stand. Zugu accomplishes with magnets what every other company should have offered us by now. The magnets hold the stand in place at eight different angles. Not hold just theoretically in place, but really holds. And the lid is not designed to just flop over and hope it really covers the screen. Zugu magnets secure the lid, and the case's outer rim encloses the lid around the sides of the cover. This case has other great features, as well. But these are my favorite. In short, Zugu gets it!
