So I have seen a couple of these before and decided to take the plunge for me 7 year olds birthday as something he and his siter (almost 4) can do. I thought the eggs would be sand like but they are actually more like a chalk. The kids had a blast digging for the dinosaur, Once they located their dinosaurs they were able to pretty quickly get them out of the eggs. They were so excited to match them up to the cards and learn a little something about their new dinosaurs. We only did one each so we still have some for them to do at a later time. The egg was easily vaccuumed up when they were done so clean up was easy and fast.
