Holy CRAP (NOT) - I was having a problem (the entire neighborhood actually) with Robins landing on our car mirrors and crapping down the sides of our cars, NON-STOP! We tried everything; nets, cardboard to block their reflection, constant watching and locking/unlocking to blow the horn every 15 minutes. Nothing worked! I bought this owl on a whim and haven't had a problem since. I move it occasionally from my hood, to my roof, to a stump next to my truck... no more crap! I get up in the morning and hear birds chirping in the back yard or in my neighbors yards but when I go to the door that leads to my driveway, dead silence... who'd have thought?
