I purchased this pack four years ago and I'm just now getting around to writing a review. I will confess that I am somewhat of a Teton Sports "fanboy". I have had great luck with everything that I have purchased from them and their quality/price ratio is outstanding. I love the size and comfort of this pack. It is big enough to hold all of my camp gear and fits well behind the backseat of my two door Wrangler. There isn't a lot of space in a two door Wrangler, so whether I am camping next to the Jeep or hiking into the back country I am using the same gear. The attached pics show my bag loaded up after I just got back from camping this weekend in the Utah mountains. It has my hammock, tarp, underquilt, top quilt, stakes, clothes, IFAK, Jetboil, water purifier, etc. It doesn't have food packed because this is the return trip, but there is a ton of room left over. I have camped with this pack with a tent, pad and sleeping bag. The straps work well to hold the pad and/or bag, but I don't do that very often just because of the comfort of camping in a hammock. Durability: Like I said, I have been using this for four years and it is still in great shape. Having said that, Teton has an awesome warranty and outstanding customer service so it was never a concern. Comfort: This is a big bag, but it wears really well. It distributes the weight nicely and is very comfortable. Although I pack a lot of gear, I strive to keep weight to a minimum. I have used this on hikes into the High Uintas with no issues. You can spend a lot more money and get a lighter, more comfortable pack, but for most people this is a great choice. My only complaint would be back ventilation. It is fine, but I have used better.
